Black Onyx Square Cut Copper Ring

My First Prong Ring, I used a stone out of a cuff link that belong to my mother. I only had the one so, why throw it out? eh..
I upcycled it as some jewelers's would call it. One of the prong was a bit shorter, but it did not effect the ring at all. I wonder what my mother would say :) I made this one to fit me. I used Copper wire. I am still a bit scared of the real silver and golds.

Sea Shell Wire Wrapped Dangle Bangle

I've been trying to come up with some new techniques using Cindy Lietz Dangle Bangle. Here you will see that I used her technique, then I added my touch of wire wrapping. I also used some of the sea shells that my grandkids and I found on the beach last summer. In between each shell I added a few different colors of faux glass pearls. The next one I will probably add more charms. I should have slowed down a bit during the wrapping technique, I can see gaps :(..  oh well, I still like it.

Can you tell which shell is PC?
Please leave feedback. I love your comments.

Picasso? Pendant Set

This is one of my favorite pieces. I used Cindy Lietz "blend and switch" technique for the pattern. I used gold colored metal tape around the edge of the pendant and fill it with epoxy resin. I learned a bit from trial and error in making this piece But, I managed to come up with a fine set that worked.  I think it looks a little like something Picasso would make. When I wear it, I get loads of complements.

Rosie The Fish

Check out Rosie the fish. My Sister gave me this fish statue years ago. Well It go knocked over and broke. I glued it back together and it just sat on my patio table It used to be a clown fish peachy color. I thought how neat it would be to give it a face lift.I still have a few more final touches before it hits the oven. 12 x12 in size.

Refurbished Pearl Ring

So, I had this ring that a private jeweler made for me back around 1994. This ring used to have a black pearl on the side of the white pearl until I lost it. Instead of having a new pearl added back to the ring, I let it sit in my jewelry box until now.

I snipped off the prongs on the side that had the black pearl missing and reshaped the ring then grabbed some copper wire and began to sculp a beautiful pearl, copper and gold ring. Isn't it a beauty! :)

I also did the same on a diamond solitare engagement ring for a client. She said she was going to sell it and wondered if I could do something with it. She loved what I did with it, and decided to keep it.

This beautiful angelic heart measures 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" in size. I call it Angelic because it looks like angel wings draping around the heart. The pearly colors of gold, sea green, blue, and red just glisten in the light. Added is my signiture coral bail which is made using 16 gauge brass wire.

John 3:16 Chain Bracelet

Like the pendant before this. I used a silver spoon to create this fabulous mans bracelet. It has been awhile since I have drawn anything. Using an etching tool is very challenging because it slips and slides everywhere. Ive been thinking of cleaning this one ogg and redoing it.

Silver pendant

My newest creation. Thanks to my sister Cathy *Thanks Sis* She went on the prawl up north for vintage silverware for me.
This piece has some beautiful marking on it. It kind of reminded me of a soup spoon, I have no clue what type it was. as you can see it is now a piece of wearable art.I made it a bit large than arriginally was. I had some serling findings, magnet beads, crystal square beads, a pearl and a swarovski round smoked bead to made up a dangle charm for it.I am really pleased with the
outcome.

Faux Jade Tribal Brooch

I love the color of Green Jade. After making this little faux jade bead I knew exactly what I was going to make with him" A Brooch'
This piece is a little over 2's in length x 1' wide I love how it turned out.

Jade is the stone of "Wisdom and Prosperity" There are many colors of Jade, but green and white is by far the most popular color. It is thought to be calming of the nervous system. Green jade is thought to bring life and growth, and to assist in one infinding their hearts one true desire. I am sure that it has a lot of mean to a lot of people, but I won't go into all of them.

Tribal Leather Cuff

I raided my husband closet, and took his old leather belts. As you can see above the outcome turned out fantastic! When I told him that I cut his belts up, He totally freaked *LOL*. After he seen his present, he wasn't so mad anymore. He said that it was *Way Cool* He named this his lucky fishing cuff. The beads are made out of PC Faux Bone and they are hand carved with Tribal markings. The one that looks like a wagon wheel means "permanant Home" and the one that has the medican mans eye means "Wise and Watchful". I have more of these coming up soon. This is the second one that I made.
I have been brushing up on some old School leather classes from when I was a child. It is funny how things come back to you like that.
