I don't get it!

After making this beautiful large bezel, I couldn't thing of what to put on it. I really liked it blank, but I felt that it needed some charicter. Here is my end result. Faux Turquoise. The two round pieces I made, they are wrapped in a foil bezel to mimic a traditional bezels that you would see on rings and such. I added a silver tube chain to give it a more of a western look.
My Husband Said "I don't get it" * LOL* Art!

Winning Heart Earrings

These lovely earrings are made from polymer clay. This set of heart I recieved in a package of winning beads from Cindy Lietz. If you look back in some of my older post you will be able to see them along with some of her fabulous work. She wanted to see what I have done with them. So, Here you go Cindy. I had them on Monday and recieved tons of Complements. One of my favs now :)

Natural Stones

My Sister purchased these from a vender in Ky., and asked if I would wrap them for her. I still have a couple more to wrap before shipping them out. They are very beautiful stones in person esp. with the crackle effect that goes through them.

16 In. Collar Necklace

This is my second collar that I have made. The first one was made with copper wire and I believe used four wires wide. This one is five strands wide and a heavier wire. Almost to difficult to make.
This one is 16 inchs round. I really love the look of Jewelers Brass.  It could pass as gold filled.

Speak of gold, I thought I would mention that 14 K & 18 K Gold Collars sell for $200. and up.
I would sell this one for $75.00 if anyone is interested.

Worried about tarnishing? All base metals tarnish even silver so you might want to keep a polishing cloth around.

Paua Shell Earrings

This beautiful pair of natural Paua Shell earings measure 25x18mm. Nice size, not to big for a dangle. I sculpted jewelers brass wire to embrace the stone then added gold plated non alergy They are really beautiful in real life.

Paua Te Koha a Tangaroa The Gift of the God of the Sea

Paua is unique to New Zealand. The most colourful species of Abalone.
Regarded by New Zealanders past and present as a taonga or treasure. Maori legend has it that paua was a special gift from Tangaroa, the God of The Sea. It is unique to New Zealand, that lives on the rocky shoreline all around the coast, but grows best in the waters of southern NZ. This marine mollusk eats seaweed and lives clinging to rocks at depths of 1-10 meters, normally along the shoreline. Paua Shell is the most colorful of all the abalone shells. Most other abalone are pale in comparison.

February birthstone Amethyst - Myths, History and Facts
Amethyst History/Lore
According to Greek mythology, Amethyst was a young virgin who became the object of wrath of the Greek God Dionysus after he became intoxicated with red wine. When Amethyst cried out to Goddess Diana for help, she immediately turned the girl into a white, shimmering stone (quartz). When Dionysus realized what had happened and felt remorse for his actions, his tears dripped into his goblet of red wine. The goblet overturned, and the red wine spilled all over the white rock, saturating it until it became the purple quartz that is now known as Amethyst.

Birthstone Properties
Amethyst is purple quartz, and is a meditative and calming stone. It works in the emotional, spiritual, and physical planes to provide calm, balance, patience, and peace. Amethyst is also beneficial when dealing with legal problems and money issues, which can lead to prosperity and abundance. Emotionally, amethyst can help heal personal losses and grief. Amethyst has a gently sedative energy that promotes peacefulness, happiness, and contentment. It also brings emotional stability and inner strength, and can enhance flexibility and cooperation. Amethyst can help get rid of addictions (alcohol, drugs, smoking, etc.) and compulsive behaviors of all kinds.

Ladies Watch Bracelet

Upcycled watch face. I scupted a bracelet for it.
It isn't completely finished because I am not satisfied with my work. Being it was my first attempt with this scupture, I think it turned out great.

I would like to thank Annie and James for donating their old Jewelry.

This is how it latches.
Below you will see that I figured out what it was missing.
