This is one of my favorite pieces. I used Cindy Lietz "blend and switch" technique for the pattern. I used gold colored metal tape around the edge of the pendant and fill it with epoxy resin. I learned a bit from trial and error in making this piece But, I managed to come up with a fine set that worked. I think it looks a little like something Picasso would make. When I wear it, I get loads of complements.
Drats - I've been waiting for the pic to load but I still get nothing! Drats!
ReplyDeleteAre You trying to view it from a phone? I see it from my pc but my phone won't load it.
ReplyDeleteHi Brenda...I'm dying to see what you made using Cindy's Copper Tape tute, as well! Unfortunately, I can't see the picture of your gold-taped piece, either. Guess I'll check back later (can't wait to see what you made!)
ReplyDeleteI looked thru your other jewelry while waiting, though--it's just gorgeous. You just keep getting better & better, Ms. Moran! ;~D
FYI, I'm viewing from my PC...
ReplyDeleteStunning, Brenda! Nice job with the Blend and Switch!
ReplyDeletei can view it now! Great job with the blend and switch and the foil tape. Looks really neat! Like the name to; it's something I would use on a piece too as i love art.
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone, Brenda... these pieces are stunning! So wonderful to see students like you taking what they've learned and taking it to the next level. Great job!
