Angelic Heart Pendant

This beautiful angelic heart measures 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" in size. I call it Angelic because it looks like angel wings draping around the heart. The pearly colors of gold, sea green, blue, and red just glisten in the light. Added is my signiture coral bail which is made using 16 gauge brass wire.

John 3:16 Chain Bracelet

Like the pendant before this. I used a silver spoon to create this fabulous mans bracelet. It has been awhile since I have drawn anything. Using an etching tool is very challenging because it slips and slides everywhere. Ive been thinking of cleaning this one ogg and redoing it.

Silver pendant

My newest creation. Thanks to my sister Cathy *Thanks Sis* She went on the prawl up north for vintage silverware for me.
This piece has some beautiful marking on it. It kind of reminded me of a soup spoon, I have no clue what type it was. as you can see it is now a piece of wearable art.I made it a bit large than arriginally was. I had some serling findings, magnet beads, crystal square beads, a pearl and a swarovski round smoked bead to made up a dangle charm for it.I am really pleased with the
outcome.

Egyptian Ring

This is my first attempted to make the fancy wire wrapped ring. I used 21 gauge half round half hard Copper wire and a handcrafted Faux Jade cabochon. this ring is a size 7 1/2

Faux Jade Tribal Brooch

I love the color of Green Jade. After making this little faux jade bead I knew exactly what I was going to make with him" A Brooch'
This piece is a little over 2's in length x 1' wide I love how it turned out.

Jade is the stone of "Wisdom and Prosperity" There are many colors of Jade, but green and white is by far the most popular color. It is thought to be calming of the nervous system. Green jade is thought to bring life and growth, and to assist in one infinding their hearts one true desire. I am sure that it has a lot of mean to a lot of people, but I won't go into all of them.

Tribal Leather Cuff

I raided my husband closet, and took his old leather belts. As you can see above the outcome turned out fantastic! When I told him that I cut his belts up, He totally freaked *LOL*. After he seen his present, he wasn't so mad anymore. He said that it was *Way Cool* He named this his lucky fishing cuff. The beads are made out of PC Faux Bone and they are hand carved with Tribal markings. The one that looks like a wagon wheel means "permanant Home" and the one that has the medican mans eye means "Wise and Watchful". I have more of these coming up soon. This is the second one that I made.
I have been brushing up on some old School leather classes from when I was a child. It is funny how things come back to you like that.

Inlay Tribal Necklace

I love how this one turned out. Faux Bone with Tribal markings. I've added a touch of color as well. I used wooden beads which are connected by hand crafted copper eyelet findings. Again I used the Faux Bone Tutorial From Cindy Lietz to make this piece.

Faux Bone

This is a photo of my Faux Bone. They are clearly not finished yet. I still have some more sanding to do. I am not sure that I pressed the clay enough to make the lines fine enough. When held to the light you can see transparent grains. I showed a couple of people, they said they kind of look like pieces of wood.
But the tubes look like bone. What do you think? If you would like to learn this technique visit Faux Bone Tutorial by Cindy Lietz.

Gods Jeweler's at Work

When I look out into the world I see all Gods artistic creations. I think about how wonderful of an artist he is. Every tree, flower, blade of grass, rocks, and even snow and rain have some form of pattern in them. Everything was made perfect in his eyes. As a child, I would lay in the field behind my house, between the pine trees looking up into the clouds trying to figure out what I could make of them. I would also walk the fields pulling one of those blades of hay and stare at the formation of seeds between each little fuzzy thing. All I can say is beautiful. I thank him for my gift.

I have really learned to respect other jewelry artistans work. When making things myself, I often stop and think "wow" this is alot of work. In the end after that piece is finished, I won't think about what it took for me to make it. I will admire that piece of art, because my hands touched every wire, link, clay, bead, claps, bail, brush and tools to make this beauty. So the next time you admire a piece of jewelry remember some artist out there put that together by hand.

Autumn Life Necklace

This is my newest piece that I have been working on. As you can tell, I have used the same clay design in the cobachon that I used in my last piece. I made a lot of that pattern. This beautiful piece was made using 20 gauge half round copper wire for the chain links, and 20 bright round copper for  the wire wrapping. I used Faux Glass Pearls: brown and white. I also added some glass beads. The chain is 24in's in length and the pendant hangs 2 1/2 in's.

I am never sure as to how to measure the length of the chain. So I measure from one end of the chain to the other.   Here is a picture to give an idea of how far it hangs down.
Here is a close up of the actual pendant. Posted by Picasa
I won an Artisan Challenge with this necklace.  On Artisans/Designers Jewelry website.

Oakleaf Town Center Fall Festival

I have to say for my first showing that it turned out very nice. I want to thank my Mother & Father Inlaw for the tremendous amount of help. I would also thank my Darling husband "Don" that is a big support of my work. With the four of us we had everything thing up in a jiffy, and down in a jiffy. This photo was taken before everything started. The maniger of the town center was super nice. She has already envited me back for other events. I guess I better get busy with all the upcoming holiday,s.

Zebra Pattern Cuffs

I have been practicing making Cuff Bracelets using hammered bezels.  Boy am I feeling it in my hands. All that hammering to get the right shap need for my cuffs.  The cuff to the top was wrapped , and the bottom one was wrapped then made to look like hair of a zebra.   So what do you think?
